untidy autumn

I really liked this post about perfection taking away something from experiences.

Early this morning I passed through a part of the financial district where everything is just a little bit too perfect. To make it worse, they were hurriedly sweeping up the autumnal leaves before anyone could see them covering their unblemished walkways.

All those lovely big flakes of orange and brown - in the bin. Back to concrete, steel and glass.
